vacinations/visa/and more Q

hi,
I need some information about visa and vaccinations for China.
I am at Dutch citizen at the moment in the US. In 3.5 weeks I am going to Hong Kong where I will be staying around 4-5 weeks. After that I will be traveling in China (perhaps Tibet) for and additional 4 weeks.
*Does anyone know if I can get a visa for China in Hong Kong (and where and how much it cost and such)?
*Does anyone know if I can get vaccinations done in Hong Kong for Chinae (and which I need, where i could do it and how much it costs)?
*Can or can I not travel to Tibet by myself? where to get the permit?
*Any tips for things to do/see during my stay in Hong Kong?
*Any itinery trips in Southern China (I arrive and leave from Hong Kong)

Thanks a lot!

Kris

1. Yes, very easy. Most travel agents can help you arrange this.
2. Yes but why would you? For short term visitors its not really necessary (unless you'll be spending a lot of time out in the countryside).
3. Yes and no. Most people go via agents who help them "buy" permits. Easily obtained in for example Chengdu.
4. Theres Victoria peak, the escalator in mid-levels and the "HK skyline"...apart from that, just hang out and enjoy yourself. HK is a great city.
5. Its a cliché but Yangshuo (Guilin) is worth visiting, as is both Yunnan and Sichuan province. Consider Guizhou province for more off-the-beaten-track type travelling.

It appears you are new here and the questions you ask are normal and relevent.
There is a large resource of information regarding some of your questions on the search feature.

I'd recommend you spend a few hours initially on this feature with searches on all the items you have asked about. You might be surprised at the results.

When you come back I'm sure with unanswered questions, ask/post one or two specific question at a time, and I'm sure you will have lots of help and advice. Your planned journey is quite extensive, and you need to spend some quality time planning by asking some specific questions.

Folks here will surely respond if it appears you have done your initial investigations and now it appears you are are looking for quality advice.
