trekking

Hoi,
We are a family with a 5 years old son,
We like to do a tour in the north,
A bit walking, swimming in waterfalls, riding on an elephant and peddling on a bamboe raft.
which place is the best/cheapest Pai,Soppong or Chiang Mai.
I know Chiang Mai will be more touristic but to me it seems also the easiest treks not involving more then 2/3 hours walk a day.

Who has got the knowledge?

Thanks in advance!

You might also consider Kanchanabury for the same activities, quite beautiful. Many guesthouses are situated on rafts anchored in the river, a unique experience.

You can book many different treks outta CM. Forget Pai, which should be renamed Kii.

Instead of designing yourself to fit the world, you can design a life to fit your abundant gifts
