Meteora

I have a free weekend to head off with my backback, and am thinking of getting the bus to Kalambaka and Meteora. Can anyone recommend a budget hotel / hostel (max 30euros, less if possible) there? Any recommendations of somewhere to stay between there and Thessaloniki for a night/day on my way back? Do you know how I can find out bus timetables from Thessaloniki to Kalambaka?
Thank you!

If you go to Meteora I recommend you stay at Kastraki which is just a few kms away from Kalambaka but more closer to Meteora with beautiful views and countryside. There is a bus over but you can also walk. There are guest houses there ......I was able to stay in a no view room for 25 Euro.....a house owned by the people who run the camp ground there. You could always stay at Larissa for a stopover. I got a cheap room in a shabby hotel by the rail station but there are other places I am sure. Or how about at Platamonas and their nice beach. Aloha
