construction on Rai Ley East

Hello, I am hoping to book a hotel on Rai Ley East for the month of June. I have heard that there is a lot of construction going on now that it is low season. Can anyone give me any insight as to what to avoid or what hotel choices might be the best. I am considering Sand and Sea or Rai Ley Resort and Spa (next door to Sand and Sea). Also it seems that booking online is the best choice these days (I'm used to the old days on Rai Ley when I could just show up and grab a room). Thanks for any info.

W, slight typo, you are referring to WEST Railay?

I left this post yesterday, hoping someone would have more up to date info.
When I visited in late March, Railay Village Resort was under complete reconstruction and was not expected to be finished before August or so. I think there is a notice on Sand Sea's website about how adjacent construction doesn't inconvenience SS guests.
I was searching for a room recently and Railay Bay's website said THEY were alos partially rebuilding in the low season and how their restaurant and certain other areas would be closed down.
Looks like Sand Sea is the go. BTW, I reckon it is a real nice place. I also found one of the booking sites - maybe Asiarooms or sawadee.com was WAY cheaper for Sand Sea than others.

Over on East Railay, Sunrise Tropical and Diamond Private have comparable facilites. Avoid Diamond Private is you can't hack awesome steps and even more awesome views.

I have a fair bit of info on this area in the link below.
