Where in Bangkok can I buy..........

I am heading to Bangkok the end of next month for a 3 night trip. I am interested in Thailand's handicraft, wood dishes and utensils, floating candles and T-shirts. Where are the best and cheapest places to buy these things in Bangkok? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!!!

Go to Chatujak Weekend Market it's the larget market in Thailand.

There are other plenty of other Shopping Places such as the MBK and Suan Lum Night Bazzar.

cheers.

As mentioned Chatujak Market is good but another option is the OTOP center. OTOP is One Tambon One Product and at their showroom they have a wide variety of products from around Thailand. I dont have the address handy but you can Google OTOP Thailand and get their website.

Prices are marginal from outlet to outlet stall to stall you can buy all of the above products you mentioned at nearly every corner of Thailand.

For cheap prices (and some quality goods too) go to Chatuchak. For top quality and reasonable prices, go to the Naraiphand, which is the retail outlet for the OTOP mentioned above. The main one's on Ratchadamri, and there's another in the Amarin Center mall at Chit Lom.

1 tampon for 1 product sounds like a good deal

Instead of designing yourself to fit the world, you can design a life to fit your abundant gifts

All these are available at reasonable prices in the comparative luxury ( over Chatachuk ) of MBK. One floor below the top level at the far end from the skytrain station.

I miss the skytrain announcer. I love hearing her say "Chit Lom"

Chatujak is good and has everything! Hopefully you have done some research, but if you haven't it is only open Saturday and Sunday's. It is huge so take some comfy shoes! Another place I found good for t-shirts and other odds and ends was Pratanum. Hope that helps!
