UK passport Chinese Visa in Hong kong

...another Visa question...
I know that the China Resources Centre in Wancha always used to give the cheapest Chinese visas in hong kong.
It seems like they charge British passport holders more now.
Can anyone please tell me what is the cheapest (three day wait is fine)
DOUBLE ENTRY 90 days visa on a UK passport.

British passport holders (along with Americans) have been charged extra for a few years now.

China Resources Building in Wanchai is where you get your visa. If you use a travel agent, that's where they will take your visa. You can do it yourself - veru easy and not much waiting - or you can use an agent. Doing it yourself is the cheapest way, but you don't save much.

If you are staying in http://www.fbt-chinavisa.com.hk is a reliable place to use.

typo in my post:

China Resources building is where agents will take your passport to get your visa.

Up to you whether you want to do it yourself or get an agent to do it for you. The cost difference is small.

When I got my double-entry visa there (on a UK passport) they'd only let me apply for 30 days per entry. Cost me HK670; would have been $750 from an agent

thanks guys.
Sounds like I really should get it over in Bangkok, then - double entry visa for 1800 bhat (about HK$350) and single entry for 1100 B... Even for us Brits!
Same seems to be the case for the mongolian Visa - 1100 bhat for 30 days and no need for invitation letters etc (as in Beijing, where it even costs 495 RMB)
So its going to be a long week or so in Bangkok for me...

Are you sure British passport holders are not charged more than other nationalities in Bangkok? Generally the prices are similar worldwide.

While a long weekend in bangkok is always nice, I wouldn't count on getting a cheaper deal on the visa.

My Chinese visa in Laos didn't cost any more for my being British.

Seems that only US passports get the bad deal in Bangkok or Chiang Mai.
Everyone else pays the same...
Still very much appreciate if one of you lads can call the China Resources Visa Office and ask for the price for me:

So now it is official - UK passports pay THREE TIMES MORE In Honkers!
Oouch, that is painful!
The Chinese embassy here in Bangkok just charge 1100 bhat single-entry (60 days) or 1800 for double entry! processing time 4 days. For double that amount, you can collect the next day.
Note - the consular section is only open 0900-1130 Monday-Friday (although the embassy itself is also open in the afternoon...).

final correction,
Even for UK passports (in Bangkok) :
double entry valid for 180 days and good for 60 days each entry (but my mate asked for and got 90 days per entry) - 1,650 baht. Simply fill in a long list of cities and DO NOT mention Tibet or Xinjiang etc...
multiple entry valid 180 day - 2,200 baht
