Dreaded Dentistry

I hate going to the dentist. I put it off whenever possible. But, I finally went through a much-needed root canal just about an hour ago. It was on a molar that has been giving me trouble for a long time. I was warned by my regular dentist that this tooth needed a root canal and that as the roots were long and curved so it would be a difficult procedure. Nothing could have been further from the truth. I went to a specialist (as recommended by my regular dentist) at the PromJai Dental Clinic on the Bypass Road in Phuket.

OMG, I did not experience one second of pain! ... not even the shot. My dentist was the best dentist I've ever been to... in any country. She was extremely polite, told me what she was doing while she was doing it, comforted me and most importantly, worked quickly. She did three nasty roots in record time. I didn't feel a thing!!

If you need dentistry done, I wholeheartedly recommend this clinic. Actually, I have been to several wonderful dentists in Phuket, this one just happens to now be my favorite.

Happy teeth!!

Would you mind me asking what it cost for the procedure? I had a root canal last Thursday, also 3 roots on the molar. Cost me $740, which included the root canal and filling of the tooth. Now I need to get a crown fitted on the molar, since the strength of the tooth is compromised. That's another $700, my bank account hurts more than that lousy tooth ever did.
