Travel Agent in Beijing for visa assistance for central asia

I'm in Beijing at the moment and am having a bit of trouble sorting visas for Kazakhstan and Kyrghyzstan. I was inder the impression that Australian passport holders needed only to fill in the forms to get the kazakh visa, but have downloaded the kazakh visa application form and in the fine print it says that this is true only if you have an onward visa (as there are no central asian consulates in Australia this is impossible to do).

So what I'm after is a travel agent that specialises with visas, as all of the one's I've gone to so far in beijing don't know what the process is.

Alternatively, has anyone got their kazakh visas in Urumqi (on an Australian or irish passport, I've got both), was it easy and were you required to show an onward visa?

Any tips would be much appreciated

Daniel

Where are you going after Kazakhstan? or it that your final destination? If it isn't your final destination, where are you going after Kazkahstan? Get that visa first and then apply for the Kazakh visa. Your other option is probably to purchase an invitation. Try visatorussia.com or stantours.com

Reportedly it is easy to get visas for both Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan in Urumqi. Search of the Central Asia branch for details.
