I got off the bus at the train station, walked for about 2 mins and was approached by several hotel touts. Had a look at what they were offering and turned out to be very good and cheap (sorry, can't remember the name of the place I stayed), it shouldn't take long to find somewhere. Shenzhen is very sleazy though.

Hotels is about 170 to 270 yuans. Decent, with TV and showers, though noisy and old decoration sometimes
There are 30-60 yuans rooms, they aren't hotel of course.

Coming out of customs there're travel agent shops and yeah touts once out of the custom building.

The one above the train station is OK. It's about 200 yuan.

The one the tout took me to was 100RMB. Clean, own toilet/shower, TV. I could have bargained, but it was late and I was knackered.
