Best Suk Hotel w/pool <2000bht?

Wanted for next week:
Hotel close to Sukumvit road (handy 4 BTS) with clean room, A/C, sat TV, and a decent pool w/sun most of the day.
Like to keep it under 2000bht, but a little more is ok too.
In your experience what's a good choice?
Sick of roach motels /Kob Khun Khap!

There are a lot of hotels in that price range. The Ruamchitt Plaza is right on Suk midway betweebn Nana and Asoke BTS stations. It has a beautiful pool on the roof with a panoramic view. The rooms are somewhat worn but clean (I never saw any roaches) and the staff is friendly. A deal at 1000 baht.

Cheers Bill. Looks promising.
I'm not asking people to scan all the possible hotels - I've already done that on the internet and in the LP guide and I've been to Bangkok before (stayed at the Miami and the Suk 11). Just like to hear of anyones particular favorite based on recent experience. Good room and good pool's the main jist - and I'm not a Cheap Charlie this time /Thanks!

I like the look of Siam@Siam, www.siamatsiam.com It is really new (opened Feb this year) and has goodish reviews. Very near MBK and Siam Sq but dont know how far to Sukumvit as not so often in Bangkok. 64€ for double room with breakfast on asiarooms.com If anyone here has tried it I would love comment too
