Where are you from, Simon?3
If your air ticket is for entering and leaving Thailand over a period greater than 30 days but less than 90 days, you should get a 90 day visa at your local Thai embassy/consulate before you go to Thailand and then get a multiple re-entry permit on your visa once you are in Thailand to allow you to come and go during the 90 day period of your visa."Hawkeye, your kisses are driving me crazy" - "Yes, and I'm only using one lip"

That's what he should do but the truth of the matter is, most arrivals planning on staying for 90 days or less get by on the 30 day visa exemption system which can be renewed three times before a visa is required. If you get caught out just run to Vientiane and get a 60 day tourist visa at the Royal Thai Embassy. I've personally never known any one refused entry unless they are in breach of the 90 day rule.Posted By: VenessaP -- 28-Jan-2010 15:01
