GAP Adventure Tours

I'm thinking about taking a tour through Tibet with GAP Adventures. Its follows the Friendship Highway from Lhasa to Kathmandu. I was wondering if anyone has experience with GAP tours in Tibet or elsewhere. Would you recommend it? Are there any other tour companies you would recommend? We're looking to do the main Friendship highway tour and have about two weeks.

Also I know that its possible to get around Tibet without a tour like this but I will be traveling with my dad who would like a more organized tour.

I'd appreciate any help.
