Accomodation Krabi

Hi,

The first of May we'll be flying to Krabi and arrive late in the evening. Can anyone recommend some good accomodation which we can book in advance?
Our budget is +/ 750 Bath.

Cheers!

For late arrivals in Krabi I usually recommend staying in Ao Nang, which is easy to reach by road from Krabi town or the airport. Next morning you can then grab a very quick 30-baht longtail boat to Railay Beach. In Ao Nang try "J Mansion" which is back from the beach up the main road and has clean aircon rooms and a rooftop overlooking the sea. Nice place to get started.

There is a sublink to Chanchalay guest house in Krabi town in my Krabi info thingy in the link below - nice place, pretty central, their new aircon rooms up the back are within yer budget. Krabi town is an okay place to spend the first night - hop on a longtail or white songthaew (which goes up the hill past Chanchalay) for the beaches in the morning.

I think to stay in the city at the first night is a good idea too. Hope it's not too late to suggest you a link ;-p. It's official link from Tourism Authority of Thailand.

The places located in Uttharakit Road or along the river are one of the best choice. They are quite convenience for the longtail boat and public bus and easy to go from the airport (approx 300-350 baht by taxi)
