phonetically speaking

I am trying to find out how to correctly say some Chinese City names. I am giving it my best shot, but I'm pretty sure I'm not saying the names correctly.
Is there a website where you can hear the pronunciation of the places, or can someone write them phonetically for me?

Beijing
Shanghai
Nanjing
Zhengzhou
Xian
Harbin

Thanks

If there is no food, isn't that food for thought?
And if you are bored and want to know more about our Chinese teaching experience, there is our website to read.

I would say:

Bey jing
Shang high
nan jing
she'aan
Har bean.

pronounce the j like in jeans.

Bay jing
Shang hi
nan jing
jung joe
she an
ha are bean

But to be honest reading "phonetic" Chinese is almost completely useless. Ask a Chinese person.

Agree with #4 and esp with #5- get a Chinese person to say it for you.
