traveling from nepal to china through tibet

hello had a bit of trouble finding out info on this a couple of weeks ago. in nepal u can get a group visa isued by a tour company with just u on it , the visa wont be the same lenght as a normal china visa but should still be about 28 days , once in lhasa u can travel into china no problems with this visa and u can exit on it say into laos or vietnam, i am not sure how easy it is to extend in china however.

Generally it is very difficult ( or even impossible in many areas) to extend a group Chinese visa. Most people try and exit China before the 28 days is up or try to change the group visa into a standard tourist visa (which can also be difficult).
