Yunnan in May/June

Hi all,

I ha'ne ideas of heading to Yunnan in May and maybe for a bit of June (I'm in Cambodia at the moment, and plan to reach China through Viet Nam), but I'm wondering what the weather situation is going to be like. My little bit of research suggests that the rain starts to pick up quite a bit around that time, but that the temperature is generally pretty humane.

So how is the rain - does it get opressive? Should I just endeavour to reach the place as soon as possible before it really starst to hit? And aside from that, are there other reasons to keep or change my plans?

I am singing in the rain .... I am singing in the rain, what a glorious feeling to be....
Well, it will be interesting enough to see the diversities of Yunnan province.
The rain will be ok and the temperatures are great (20°C -29°C or so, depends where you are)
Go for it, go now ,you won't regret it! Yunnan is marvellous!
