Good place to buy a camera in Beijing?

I sadly just lost my camera, and I'm wondering if anybody knows a good place to shop around for cameras in Beijing. I already know which model I want to buy, so I'm looking for information about a recommended store, electronics market, or a shopping mall/district where I can comparison shop to try to find the best deal on that particular camera model.

Any ideas? If possible, give me any information you can on how to get there by subway (what stop it's near, etc.).

Thanks! -- Ryan

you can look for in some electronics markts in zhongguangcun where the products are fairly cheap. but you had better have ability to identify the products and bargain with the traders.

Be VERY careful as bait and switch tactics used to be pretty common in this part of the world. Show you one thing and you get home and unpack and there is something else in the box or the box is missing some component.

Since I have taken the time to answer your question, it would be nice if you took the time to respond as to whether the information was helpful.

Wukesong Camera City is a good place to check out.

Thank you guys very much. Yeah, the bait-and-switch thing freaks me out quite a bit, I'll be very careful to make sure I'm getting what I pay for.

That Wukesong Camera City place sounds great. I might head out there today. Thanks again!
