getting a vietnam visa in china

Hi,
I will be travelling to China in June, and then heading onto Vietnam. Want to get a Vietnam visa in China - can anyone advise me about embassies/consulates in China? Is it possible to get a Vietnam visa in Hong Kong, and if so, how long does it take? If not, how long does it take to obtain one in Beijing? Not going to be in these cities for more than 2 or 3 days each, so I'm hoping it will be fairly quick?
Thanks!

You can get the visa at Guangzhou, Nanning or Kunming.
Cheers!

And in HK $80.00USD same day service in Central CTS $40.00 USD 3 days.

Listen carefully to my speech, and let this be your consolation.

Hi, thanks for that, I'm sorry though - what does Central CTS mean? So, I can get the visa at a consulate in Hong Kong, same day service? Sorry if I'm being an idiot!

Central HongKong that's the name of the place and CTS is China Travel Services or 中旅社 in chinese.

Listen carefully to my speech, and let this be your consolation.
