Theres a bus at 8.30am from Old Dali to Zhongdian, arrives 4.30om. Cost us 55Y but prices may have risen.

Hi westwood

Is that am or pm , assume you hit o instead of p , however.
What do you mean old Dali , is there a new one ?

Also what towns , just a couple if you remember , do you go through . Just trying to plot a route.

Cheers and thanks

I' m glad to be here.

No, it wasnt a typo. The bus left in the morning.
As for new and old Dali, we were in Lincang ( which is much further south west than Kunming) prior and caught bus to Xinguan which happens to be a bus ride from Old Dali. We'd crossed into China from Laos and wanted to avoid going to Kunming on our way north.
