Tibet overland

Hi there

My boyfriend and I (Australian mid 20's laid back) are hoping to travel overland from either Dali, Lijiang or Chendgu (most preferable) to lhasa in Tibet anytime from the April 1 - 6th 2007. We can't afford to do it alone as the prices quoted by the tour companies are per vehicle not person.

We would love to hear from two travellers who would like to cross into Tibet around this time.

The prices we have been given include
Jim's Tibetan Hotel from Dali -- Works out to be 5800 Yuan each if there are four people.

If you know of any cheaper and realiable tour companies we would love to hear from you.
