Is Wulingyuan the same place as Zhangjiajie? If so then Yangshuo and and Wulingyaun are completely different, both in scenery and in chances to find a cooking class in english. Both have fantastic scenery. Some comparisons for you:2
you go to Yangshuo for the Scenery."A person without a sense of humor is like a wagon without springs. It's jolted by every pebble on the road" - Henry Ward Beecher

English cookery classes at Wulingyuan sounds VERY VERY unlikely. These kind of things tend to be more prevalent where there's a market for them eg Western travellers, or expats.4
ellyse, not English cookery classes in Yangshuo but cookery classes in English."A person without a sense of humor is like a wagon without springs. It's jolted by every pebble on the road" - Henry Ward Beecher

Look, OP, whoever you, go to Yangshuo. Everyone else, save it for now.
