Tibet - Nepal; is this realistic?

Planning on taking a trip out to Nepal and Tibet in mid September this year. Wanna climb Mt.Everest as part of my trip. I figure I have 6 months to prepare for it so I wanted to know what I would need to do to get myself physically fit for the rigourous of the climb. I guess I want to start exercising, getting my body used to whatever I'll be needing to do, etc. If anyone has any advice, please let me know.

Also, I have about 2.5-3 weeks to spend so I'm thinking about going to Nepal first and then to Tibet. Is this realistic and how would you do it if it was?

Thanks in advance.

USD45,000 for this trip? And it does not include insurance and helicopter evacuation? Sounds very steep to me.

#6...I just wanted to let you know that the company listed by #1 is fictional. It's a joke.

If the OP has a real interest in climbing Everest, I would highly suggest getting in contact with professionals. I would not recommend getting advice on how to condition for Everest on a travel forum.

It isn't, #6. And it doesn't include costs for any emergency medical treatment either.
Cheers!
