Lhasa to Nepalise border by 4x4 travellers required

Hello

We are currently in Lhasa and are planning on hiring a 4x4 and driver to take us to the Nepal border. The trip will probably take around 4-5 days depending on the sights visited on the way. We are hoping to leave on the 27th February (but could hold back a day if that helps) and are looking for 2 people to join our adventure

We definately want to visit Everest Base camp but are fairly flexible with the other sites along the journey. We estimate the cost to be around 1000RMB per person based on 4 sharing including all the permits, car, driver (including his food and accomodation) and fuel. We have not yet approached any drivers (they are closed on Sundays) about this but there are plenty around Lhasa.

We are a young couple (26/27) from Edinburgh, Scotland, easygoing and friendly.

If you are interested please leave a message on this thread with your email or email us at:

If you are already in Lhasa we are staying in room 106 at Phuntsok Khasang International Youth Hostel on Duosenge North Road so pop by and see us or leave us a message.

We look forward to hearing from you
