Quick Visa question

Hi basically i am flying to China next month, i am going to get a 30 day visa in Britain and then as i will be travelling from Shanghai to Hong Kong get a 2 month visa in Honnk kong (which i have gathered is realtively simple) however will i encounter any problems that i have already had a China visa recently (even though it has been 'used up') or do they not looked at past destinations. Thanx

why would you have a problem?

I use these people: FBT, fast efficient and cheap.

i have no idea - just a weird niggling thing that might be a problem - i guess people who get a visa for china who are only allowed for a certain time can go to a place like Hong Kong simply to get another visa and stay in China longer than 30 days - although thinking about it that sounds pretty stupid, anyway just chekcing, cheers

Yep, no problem at all - you can stay in China as long as you want (my current passport has 12 Chinese visas in it, for example).

Another vote for Forever Bright from me too (Harry's link).

ok cheers, also just realised another question i have - i live in the UK and it is inconvenient for me to go to London to get a Visa, while getting a visa through an agency means a 150% mark up (which is fair enough i suppose), but anyway is it possible for me to give my passport and photograph and everything else to someone else in London who can go the consulate and hand them in or do i have to apply in person. If i dont, it says they take 4 - 5 days, will it be ok for the same person to pick it up in say 10 days (will it get lost by then :/)? thank you

You can get someone else to do it, and it can be posted to you (this is all an agency does, after all).

You can also get it back the same day if you pay another 20 quid, but as this takes a whole morning of tedium for your friend in London the additional cost of drinks owed will probably double the cost of the visa.

Everything in moderation, even moderation.

You could maybe try getting a longer (more than one entry) visa initially?
