Even though it is less than an hour flight, going between Kathmandu and Lhasa by air is not cheap. It definitely won't be 25 Euros. You should be able to find a roundtrip ticket for around $450 USD or so.

no, i would not have actually thought it is a market price, i have thought this is what agencies want it to be a market price.... this is prety much the same all over the world, never mind what you buy - guided tour around Rome, trinkets in Sharm El Scheih or flight Kathmandu-Lhasa... 450 usd pp return quoted by Losang is something I would think would be at least reasonable, but for 2 people it already makes difference in half thousand USD.... :-)) For these money in Nepal you can built 1/4 of the whole school :-))Posted By: VenessaP -- 28-Jan-2010 15:01
