China Visa in Bangkok

Hi travel friends,
just a brief question about Visa applications for China in Bangkok.
I am coming just for 3 days to Bangkok.
Would it be possible to obtain a Visa for China in that time?
Is there any "express application" and which terms apply for that?
THX a lot, Ijong

Yes, they have express service. However, if I remember correctly this doesn't cover weekends.. so make sure your three days are weekdays. Otherwise there's a chance you might not get it done.

There are 3 tiers for a 30 day Chinese 'L' tourist visa:

3 working days: about $30 US or around 1000 baht
2 working days with 100% rush fee ie $60 US / 2000 Baht
1 working day with 200% rush fee ie $90 US or 3000 baht.

Application forms are in dual English & Chinese. Take 2 passport sized photos. Easy to go to KSR & get it done there, while you tour around Bkk. Dior & Olavi Tavel are reliable & would charge commission at around the same as the cost of public transport to & from the Chinese embassy. You could also diy if you don't mind commuting.

Khao San Road has its own website. Not sure about the 3 month visa. I've only ever applied for 30 day visas. 'Google' Chinese consulates or embassies, & check their requirements.

Are you flying directly into mainland China? If you're flying firstly to Macau or Hong Kong, very easy to get long term visae there. No need for visa for HK and Macau for most nationalities.

Getting a 90 day visa generally will depend upon your passport.
