Traditional Chinese or Tibetan Medicine courses?

Hi all,

I'm currently a 1st year medical student and am looking to do some traveling in Asia over the summer. I was hoping to find a good 4 week or so course somewhere in southwestern China or in Tibet on traditional medicine techniques (acupuncture, etc) and was wondering if anyone had any reccommendations for schools or teachers? I have found one in Beijing, but was hoping to find one in a smaller city, closer to the mountains so I can combine the trip with a bit of hiking/backpacking.

i can't carry on a technical conversation, but I can get by with daily conversational Mandarin - do you know of a place? thanks!

I don't think it would really be possible... how would you understand whoever was trying to teach you, and how would you be able to comprehend what's written in textbooks?
