Annapurna Circuit or 3 Passes 8/4 trekking buddies wanted!Hey...
I arrive solo in KTM on the 5th and am looking to hook up with other independents for one of these classic treks.
I am male, 36, originally from Scotland but have lived in Greece, Germany, Poland and Italy. As well as English, I can speak Greek and German fluently, and have a little French and Italian.
I have over a decade's experience trekking in mountainous regions (Moroccan Atlas, Pyrenees, Alps, Scottish Highlands). My usual style is light and fast, although I gladly trade speed and progress for good conversation :)
If you have similar plans to mine, I would love to hear from you.

Don't worry about meeting someone before hand you will meet someone in the 1st day or 2
I highly recommend doing the hike from jiri to namche and then doing the three passes or just 1 or 2 of them. I just did this and went up to goyko and over renjo la pass. It was amazing but looking back my favorite time was the part from jiri as it is super quite village life with few tourist. Once you get up pass namche the scenery is amazing but there are tons of tourist!! Just my two cents

3The merits (?) of this approach aside, LP suggest people use Skype and Twitter. Announcement and discussion on this thread:

how long are you staying in Nepal? I am coming over on April, 26th (already got a flight to Lukla on the 28th) and plan to do the 3 passes & EBC-trek (flight back to Kathmandu is on May, 20th, back to Germany 4 days later). I have already been to the Annapurna as well as the Everest region in October 2011, so I know what to expect. Would be great if we hike together (I am 37 and fast & light style is fine with me) ?!
