Yeaahh!!

Just noticed you're all back :)

I started this year in cracking style by making this crackling pork a la these guys:

they are fun to wach and the pork tastes seriously good! Next time I'll try and make the potatoes too..

Yes, they were more than 'naughty but nice' as that old... was it Cadbury's? commercial, went, they were delicious. It's a good thing we've taken up running :)

Very few TV cooks admit that something might have gone wrong, but those potatoes looked to me as if they'd been sautéed a few minutes too long. Regardless, the meal made my mouth water.

I didn't start the new year in any special way, but I made a nice Christmas Eve dinner as the old year was drawing to a close. Christmas Eve Dinner and Le Marquis the dessert that followed.

I have to admit I would have liked both the cake and the icing more if they were sweeter.

Both those dishes look delicious NorthAmerican and I suspect I would have liked that cake, because I don't like too sweet things:)

The dinner looks wonderful! I lke sweets but the cake doesn't look like my kind of dessert. Of course it's hard to tell from the picture.
