Searching for really cheap guesthouses (Myanmar)
Hi!We will fly to Yangon tomorrow and I need your help.
Did anybody live in double-rooms cheaper than 8-10$ for night ? In Thailand we use to pay around 5 $ for the room, and I hope that there will be something like that in Myanmar (Yangon, Bagan, Mandalay, Inle). If know such a places, please, share its names, because have a very low budget for 2 weeks :)

I have used budget guest houses listed in the Lonely Planet with shared bathrooms and the majority of them have been clean, safe and I've felt totally at ease. I have also to date not experienced a bed bug problem. Two friends recently traveled to the main tourist spots (Hi season) with out booking a head and found rooms available at non listed budget options that they found very acceptable. The range of pricing I have encountered has been $4 (Namshan) to $12 (Mandalay).
