Wedding in Vietnam

Any one got any suggestions for a location for a wedding in Vietnam. By the beach, not too expensive and suitable to cope with guests from both the UK and Australia with very mixed budgets?

Romantic please.

Thanks

You cant get married in Vietnam unless one of you is a VN national, if thats not a problem then I would suggest Phu Quoc Island.

^ rk my guess is a tout.
Con Dao Island may be an option.
You cant get married in Vietnam unless one of you is a VN national rk is right!
Even if two foreigners living here have a baby, the VN Gov will NOT give them a birth certificate.

You can have a wedding reception, but you cant get a marriage license unless one is a VN national

You can bypass the whole legal issue by having a private legal registry office ceremony in your home country, then have a Vietnamese resort organize a non legal ceremony and then followed by a reception. You can even ask them to keep the non legal side of it from your wedding guests knowledge and you can even sign a certificate. Obviously it wouldn't be legal but more a memento for you and for guests to think its all legal etc.

People do that sort of thing all the time all around the world to avoid all sorts of issues that can arise from destination weddings :)

@#7 makes sense. Certainly a lot less hassle.
