Eiffel Tower Post Office
Hi all,I've tried searching the internet but have seen different answers. Is the post office at the Eiffel Tower still open? Thanks in advance.

There is, according to the post office finder of the website of the French post:http://www.laposte.fr/Particulier/Utiliser-nos-outils-pratiques/Services-de-localisation/Un-bureau-de-poste
For some reason, the database cannot find "Eiffel". Type "Paris" in the field "Commune", click search, then scroll down through the list of all Paris post offices (many with very original names, I must say!) until you come to "Paris Tour..."

My husband and I were looking for that post office in December 2012. We found it and it is open (not sure of the hours). If you are facing the river it is under the left hand pillar. It is all automated and our US credit card did not work there because we do not have an electronic chip in it. It does take coins, but we didn't have any at that time, of course!
