Looking For a Decent Hostel in Koh Phangan...

So where has everyone else stayed? I'd like it to be pretty close to the beach for the Full Moon Party and not one of those 40 bed dorms. Also, be nice not to cost an arm and a leg for a nights stay. I'll be staying there for two nights.

Why don't you look for bungalow rather hostel.

There could also be a minimum nights stay so check that out before booking anywhere. But if its FMP this month, you might be lucky to get anywhere.

Best bet is along Sunset beach, but you'll have to go and look, unless a tout or travel agent can help you.

Haven't stayed in any hostels on Koh Phangan or anywhere else in Thailand. I would also be looking for a bungalow. There are many beaches on Koh Phangan. You should be more specific as to which beach you want to stay at. All of them have access to the FMP. There are usually minimum stay requirements at times around the party. You don't mention a budget or a beach, so I am afraid I am unable to help you out here. Good luck!
