My body odor has changed in India. Has anyone experienced this?!

I am temporarly living in India and have been eating Indian food since I got here.
My body odor has really changed and in the first days I was smelling sort of like curry.

I even wrote about this on my blog and about how one can smell differently depending on race, diet, etc:

Has anyone else experienced a change in their smell while traveling in India or somewhere else that involved a drastic change of diet?

I've found that no matter where I travel to, after a few days of a different diet and poor hygiene my feet smell of cheese.

I bathe and change my clothes twice a day, drink lots of fluids and evacuate regularly, so no. I have on the other hand noticed how other people wreak of unpleasant odours, anything from an overly spiced curry, age old common sweat or a kind of dirty underwear smell like they've pissed themselves.

I should also point out that you don't have to eat curry or any other food to smell of it, just sitting close to the kitchen or in a restaurant that doesn't have an expelair will have you humming like an oven glove.

My g/f tells me that I smell like dust and curry, for at least a few days after I've left. Oh well.

I remember sitting next to a Canadian girl at the Mango Tree in Hampi about 10 yrs ago, what struck me the most about her was this awful stench, like stale cheesy Pringles and how she kept picking the dirt from between her toes.
