visit England
Good evening,Next week I would like to visit England. I will start in Birmingham and by train to Nottingham. Then I will visit York, Leeds and finally Newcastle.
Is it worth to visit the mentioned cities or there are other possibilities?
I hope to hear from you.
Greetings,
Veenendaal

For how long are you going to be in England? There are plenty of places worth a visit, not just in England but Scotland and Wales too.
Whether the places you have mentioned are worthwhile would depend on your interests.
Maybe you should start a new thread with a few more details

Presume you're planning on Leeds then York then Newcastle? Other way round would be a bit odd.Agree, there's not a huge amount of touristy stuff in Leeds - good shopping and nightlife, and a good base for the place danbushell mentions. Add to that the Yorkshire Sculpture Park in Wakefield.
Have you considered Durham? It's on the train line from York to Leeds, and is well worth a visit - UNESCO world heritage site castle & cathedral, pretty riverside walks. Could easily spend the morning there and then the same afternoon/evening in Newcastle (15 mins away on direct train)

Just to clarify - I meant Durham is on the train line from York to Newcastle, not Leeds!
