That simply HAS to be a joke. Rarely did I see an uglier, more amateurish and worse written website. Not to mention the name Havana Hospital, few sane people would be tempted by those two words put together. But from what I can understand it's not specific to Cuba, these guys will you anywhere from Cuba to Europe to Asia. And they offer anything from urology to transgender operations.

Well, heck, someone has to be a first mover. Maybe I'll order a by-pass operation from them. They seem like someone I would have no worries ordering a by-pass from.

You guys are too funny. But thanks for confirming my initial impression, DonThomas. I wondered if it was something put together by Cubans; I mean, it has that aura of entrepreneurship one encounters in those who have sort of got the main idea (that there are lots of fools out there who can be parted with their money), but lacking in finesse. The only thing that suggests that it might not be Cuba-based is the offer to arrange hospital care in other countries. So what do you think? Nigeria, maybe?

Good question. It sure looks a bit like Cuban webdesign anno 2001. Nigeria? Don't know. My first thought is that anyone will run away. Well, I sure hope so. I mean, we all know that humans are very dumb, and that actual living human beings who are not brain dead have traveled with suitcases full of all of their life savings to Nigeria to deposit them with this stroke-of-luck widow of the former army general of Liberia who by some weird coincidence thought that a dude in a suburb outside Berlin or Baltimore would be perfect for gettig her 30 million dollars out.... That's very stupid. But it's one thing handing over money, it's another one giving strangers your brain or your heart to play with.

I don't know. No clue. Just friggin stay the heck away. It's not even a joke because I'm not laughing. But thanks for finding this website, how in the world did you come up with that?

I sent them an inquiry email several years ago (yes, they've been around that long) asking about hair plugs and buttocks implants in Cuba and they gave me some completely ridiculous reply, but good for some excellent laughs on this forum...

I spent a bit of time earlier today going through a couple of old laptops here at the office but for the life of me I can't find the correspondence. It was at least 5 or 6 laptops ago. Too bad, because it was quite funny. They recommended someplace in Mexico for the hair implants and butt lifts, but when I said I was planning to vacation in Cub they completely changed their tune and said Cuba was even better, of course.

You took it that far and didn't take it to the end actually meeting them? Most likely at the jinetero terazza bar on San Lazaro y Aguila, I imagine that's where they would conduct international business meetings :-)

Fab, thanks for the info you provided by PM. Interesting to know that as far as your research shows, HavanaHospital has nothing to do with Cuba.
