Hi Lettie, the #6 post is very similar to the trip I just returned from. We did 2 weeks in Vietnam (3 night Hanoi, day trip to Halong, overnight train to Hue & Hoi An (4 nights), overnight train to HCMC (3 nights), then took a but to Phnom Penh (3 nights), another bus to Siem Riep (3 nights). We then flew to Bali (via KL), and made our way to Jakarta for another 2 weeks...It seems like a reasonable amount of time, albiet a wee bit rushed. Java and Phnom Phen were disappointing, but to each his own. Hope this helps :)17
Cook the same as you would pork or chicken.
The way I would cook pork or chicken is I would say to my wife, "Honey, would you cook me some pork or chicken?" and she does.
"Honey, would you cook me a freaking crocodile ?" would get a difference response.
And a crocodile is one of the very few of God's creatures I haven't been offered, stir-fried, during my sojourns in South-east Asia. Next time, I'll go looking for a place. Any recommendations?

Not something I go looking for. But pretty much extinct in SEA. You might have to head as far south as Australia.19

Hi Steph, great, thank you! Where were your favourite places? I think we would skip Phnom Penh, just try to get up to Siem Riep as quickly as possible. Did you fly into Hanoi? Which airline did you use? Ideally we would do London-Hanoi and Bali-London I think, but I can only find Lon-HCMC and Jakarta-Lon for a decent price.
What was it you found disappointing about Java? What did you do on Java? Perhaps we should go to Bali and then East?
Thanks for your reply! Lettie

The farm was in SEA. Are they exporting the critters?
It might not have been a farm, per se. It was set up something like a zoo, except there was no signage (except for a wholly unnecessary one reading "Do Not Molest Crocodiles") and no admission fee.

Hi Lettie, We flew into Hanoi (from Toronto). On Java we did Yogyi, Bandung and Jakarta. Bali was awesome by the way. Java was just disappointing, compared to Vietnam I suppose. We did Boroburdur, and a volcanoe hike in Bandung. The day trips were really cool, but once we got back to the hostel it just seemed there was nothing else to do around the cities..but you may feel differently, we definatley dont regret going!! Hope that helps :)Steph
