honeymoon in Canada
My husband and I are trying to plan a belated honeymoon this July or August in Canada. We are thinking of spending about 2-3 days in Montreal and 2-3 days in Quebec City. Our top priorities when traveling are food and local culture (we are not super big into museums and such). I would really appreciate any advice that the travel community could give.
Also - we are on a budget but want to stay some place nice-ish as it is our honeymoon...
Thank you in advance!

Well which is it...are u on a budget or do you want to stay somewhere nice??This is the height of tourist season you are coming.
Don't cheap out on your honeymoon.
I like both the Westin and the W in Montreal.
Both are very close to the Old City and walkable to downtown.
Tons of resto choices which are quite easy to Yelp or Chowhound.
For a quniteseential experience try Pied au Cochon on Deluth (hope you like pork).
In QC the Frontenac is nice if you get one of the bigger rooms, however if you are leaning towards a pensione remember to make sure its inside the wall, and that allot of them dont have parking which means you will fight for space in a municipal lot.
Problem is your questions are WAY to vague.
be specific, about what info you want and you may get more detailed answers.

Just to reiterate, that Chowhound is your best source for recommendations on food and restaurants. BTW, Au Pied du Cochon is on Ave Duluth...and is worth a visit!
