hammock camping in the Galapagos

I have an ENO hammock with me. If I go to the Galapagos, will there be places for me to camp with only the hammock? I have no tent or mosquito net.

Perhaps more importantly, will I want to hammock camp in the Galapagos? Is the weather good enough during the nighttime?

You know that it does rain over there?
Have you checked with the relevant authorities to ensure that it is permitted as there is the potential of damage to trees/shrubs?

I mean in designated camping areas or even someone's backyard.

My recollection is that when you get away from the few townships that there are not that many designated areas. I suppose that if you did day trips to the other islands from the townships that you could manage.

The rain would probably be your main issue as it's in the tropics and it does rain most weeks. I only spent 5 days in the islands in March and it rained on just one day but it was very heavy and I was glad to have shelter.
