Hey! When I was in Hoi An the place that I went to was Adong Silk http://www.adongsilk.com/ and they have three stores but the Le Loi street one was the one I went to. It has great reviews on tripadvisor and after making my first suit I ended up getting two suits, 5 pants, 15 shirts and 2 ties made for $1200USD. Its a decent amount but I paid extra for better quality fabric. You can choose the quality of the fabric so that is great. My friends went to Peace Tailor (not sure of the address but tripadvisor should be able to help you) and they said they had a good experience and it was relatively cheap.
In the end I think if you stick to the main names, the prices will all be similar just that the fabric choice will be the differing factor in the end.

Whoa, don't listen to 3:)Thu Thuy maakes the majority of my extra small work clothes and I am happy with what I get. The tailor is on 60 le loi. Bb is quite good and cheaper. I didn't have time to try the clothes one time and they fit perfectly.
Never been to Adong silk but have heard good things about them.

Well actually it is Yaly at 47 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street - but dont tell mooslie! And what did I like about it?...well only one fitting and all completed in 24 hours...cost for suit is shown above each different type of material....you select the material and the design and away you go.

You can go to the higher-end places and get fairly consistently good stuff, but some of the smaller shops provide a much better deal for the same quality - you just need to know where to look.I went with my best friend, who buys an ungodly number of suits whenever he goes to Hoi An. His favourite shop is Ants Silk (525 Hai Ba Trung) and that's where we did most of our shopping. The owner is a darling and I loved everything she made me (3 suits with interchangeable trousers and skirts, a few blouses and a silk dress). One pair of trousers in particular I wear almost non-stop and they've held up like a dream.
One piece of advice for female shoppers: if you're planning to buy button-up blouses, pick up a package of snaps (the kind that prevents the shirt from gaping at the chest, if you know what I'm talking about) before you leave home. As far as I can tell, there isn't a single tailor in Hoi An that carries these.
