Costa Rica in July - bad idea?Hi,
We're planning to go to Costa Rica in July, I know this is mid-rainy season but am not sure realistically what impact that has for travelling around then.
Can anyone give me an idea of whether it is better to avoid it then or are there plenty of areas to go that are good to go in July.
I know from countries in Asia that in rainy season it's really regional and also doesn't rain half-heartedly all day like it can here in Europe!
Thanks in advance for any advice,

2july is actually a pretty good time. it is somewhat rainy, in general, but not like later in the season. also, in july, there is typically a two-week period of less rain, known as the "little summer."

you might find that the afternoon shower cools you off when you are hot and sweaty from hiking. or just take that time for rest and reflection and a good cup of costa rican coffee.
