Groo's reply (hourly quoto for the bomb residue test guy/girl) is 1000% right though.We all pay the fee in our airfare to the airline, so the guard company wants their $ too, so every notation they make in their piece of paper, they get their cut.
On the domestic travel side, every notation, on the security company's sheet, is $ to them..
