Self drive tour in the US

Hi,

Can you please help me with recommending a company which organise slef drive tours in the us (north west, national parks) BUT with mobile home, not with cars. If you know any website offering this service, itinery or any information - please share with me.

Thank you!

Gabor, I'm not sure if I totally understand what you're looking for. I believe what you call a mobile home, most people call a Recreational Vehicle (RV) in the US. There's a number of companies that do this. The biggest one can be found at CruiseAmerica.com.

Are you looking for a company that will rent you the RV? Or are you looking for more--a company that will give you a map, book campgrounds, provide tickets to amusement places, and so on?

Check with http://www.CamperWorld.com http://www.GoodSamClub.com and http://www.Woodalls.com

There are RV camper caravans, sometimes all from a foreign country such as Netherlands, that travel together through the USA, staying at RV campgrounds and in national parks -- they would be organized in their respective countries.

What months are you going, and how many days you have? RV rentals is easy and common place, Just Google. As for where to go, that depends on your budget, amount of time, and interest. The Northwest is a big area.

Hi,

Thank you for the answers and sorry for late reply. What we realy need is a copany which helps us orginising the whole trip - to rent the camper, set up the itinery, do the reservation of the campgrounds etc. Do you have any idea which is the right company for this.?

I don't think such a company exists. It's really more of a do-it-yourself thing.

Years ago, I used to see all these German families at campgrounds in the Western US. They were all in identical RV's and had a preset route with reservations at various parks. However, I Googled around and couldn't find anyone who provides this service. So I have to agree with #8.

AAA Auto club will prepare a triptik for members with detailed route information and approved facilities. This may be available to members of off shore auto clubs as well.. carracar
