What's the weather in hanoi

Hi Everyone,

Whats the weather like in Hanoi & Halong bay during Xmas ?
I'm thinking about Join the boat tour during Xmas in Hanoi-halong bay.
Can anyone give me some idea what sort of clothes should I be bringing. Tks!

If you don't know the answers to the questions you asked, just imagine what all else you don't know. Vietnam is not kind to the clueless. You should spend some time on Travelfish and Reid (via SE Asia budget guide below), as well as other resources in the VN section of the guide, and also this forum.

Weatherwise, it is not the best time of the year. Last year around the end of december and beginning of January it was often quite cold and rainy.

it is cold so bring war clothes to Vietnam this time. It is about 10 - 25 degree. Halong Bay this time is ok

it's cold, windy. the temperature is around 12-19 degree, maybe lower. bring warm clothes, check weather forcast beforehand
