Foz do Iguacu pousadas

Hi,
I am planning on having a baby in Foz do Iguacu in a few months. My mother is going to be flying down and I am looking for a nice pousada in the Regiao Centro where she will be comfortable for a couple weeks. Preferably something small and personal where she will get a taste of why I want my baby to be Brasilian!
Any recommendations?

Well chosen name.

Hopefully you've looked into all the bureacracy that goes with registering your child's birth etc etc. Congratulations anyway..

Actually, my child was born in Brazil also and registering her birth was the easiest thing ever. Trying to get permanent residency afterwards was slightly less so.

I would really like to know what people (without a Brazilian spouse or other vinculos) think is the point/advantage of going to Brazil to have a citizen baby? From the number of posts I have seen recently, this seems to be becoming popular. Despite the media hype about a booming economy, etc., IMO it's a country where that supposed prosperity has not reached much of the country ....and may not until the time of the grandchildren of today's babies, if ever.

I don't know of anyone who has ever gone to Brazil with the sole purpose of having a child there to get citizenship but I do know of foreigners (like myself), who have fallen in love with a Brazilian and happened to be living in Brazil when their child was born.
