weather end of February - first half of March in USA ?
hi again mates, which area is nice to visit in USA from weather point of view - end of Feb - first half of March?
the reason I ask is there are some cheap air tickets for this period.
what about south states such as New Orlean and Florida? anything else comes to your mind?
some road trip would be good:)
thanks,
anton

Parts of Florida can be rather warm this time of year. The same is possible but not guaranteed in Lousiana(where New Orleans is located).Generally, this is one of the more unappealing times to visit most of the US. I'd say you would enjoy yourself in south Florida if you're looking for warm weather. Otherwise this is still a great time for winter sports(i.e. skiing, snowboarding, etc.) in the western section of the country(Colorado, Utah, Montana) or even in the northeast(New York, Vermont, New Hampshire). This is only my opionion, of course.

Florida, Lousiana, south Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, southern California. Any place south of about lattitude 33 degrees north should be warm excluding any place with over 1,000 feet of altitude.3
If you don't mind wearing layered clothing and breathing extremely dry desert air, New Mexico is worth a visit. The greater Los Angeles area and the deserts of southern California are also usually OK (the L.A. area may have a day or 2 of rain). If you don't mind spending most of your trip indoors, the northeastern cities of Boston, New York, and Washington, DC are good for going from museum to store to cafe.4
thanks for quick answers guys..i will check the options proposed...so far looks like Florida is logically good option and i have not been there yet..ps i cameback from California and nearby area month ago, so would like to experience something else:)

Florida High Season starts in March, and Spring Breakers arrive around March 15th thru Easter week or early April. The most popular areas are Miami, Tampa/St Pete, Sarasota, Longboat Key, Siesta Key, and in the panhandle, Everywhere from Panama City to Destin/Ft Walton and Pensacola.7
Florida would be my first choice, a road trip in the southeast that ends in florida, if you have the time, would be even better..My son tent camps in the snow with his scout troop during february so I guess anything is possible if you are prepared both mentally and clothing-wise.
and of course some people like skiing.

If you head to Austin in March, check SXSW dates. On one hand, it's a great time to come, because there are tons of bands to watch. On the other hand, finding a hotel is a nightmare.12
interests are Nature, Hikes, Bikes, wild live , mountaines, sea and oceans, beaches, a bit of night clubs, small townsno museums please:)
yes for the car - road trip is expected (i can and willing to rent car)
(i do not consider West this time, as i came back from California and near states road trip one month ago)
thanks,

Getting outside in the southeast in winter is certainly not ideal. The best place would be south FL with the xEverglades, Biscayne, and xPennekamp. No mountains, and not much in the way of hikes, but plenty of wildlife, water, beaches, and bikes.
If you're ok with cold and somewhat bleak, then you want xAsheville and the Smokies, and xCharleston and Congaree, if time.
