Flight help from AZ

I'm going to SE Asia, specifically spending 6-7 weeks in Laos, Cambodia, and Thailand. I need help with finding cheap flights and Im going during June/July and I live in phoenix, Arizona. I would like to get there as cheap as possible. The cheapest I have found is with Hawaiin airlines and it flys to Manila for about 1200, so then I would have to find a local carrier to get me to my destination. I'm flexible on where I land and flexible with anything else. So if could get some advice that would be wonderful!

To get good flight flexibility and be closer to where you want to be I would suggest Hawaiian/codeshare with Korean Airlines to Bangkok or even just Seoul.

Then take Air Asia or other local airlines to your separate destinations. The sooner you book Air Asia the cheaper the fare, or try to book during their sale periods.

For cheap flights from Manila to Bangkok, take a look at Cebu Pacific (verify the baggage allowance with Cebu Pacific).

We're in Texas and have always flown to either LA or San Francisco and on to Hong Kong and then Bangkok or Hanoi. We fly whatever to San Francisco and Cathay Pacific to HK and on to BK. For Hanoi, Cathay puts us on Dragon Air HK to Hanoi and we make our way to BK and fly back, still on Cathay. HK is a great way to enter and leave Asia.

Putrid suggests Air Asia. You can save $ flying them, BUT be sure you understand luggage weight limits. If excess you can pay a little extra when buying tix or a lot extra at the airport.

Most likely need to fly from LAX or SFO. Check out EVA via Taipei.

China Airlines from LAX to BKK costs 1086 if you leave after the New Years. Korean is only 1216, which I'd take over China Airlines.

I imagine you can get a cheap flight to LAX from Phoenix round trip for 150 bucks or so?

Delta airlines from Phoenix to BK is 1216 and China Southern is 1,160.

These are damn good deals. Just use Orbitz.

Good luck.

When are you flying out?

dreamsignals86 - I'm flying out this June, over the summer. Those are some pretty good deals. Do you think they will be around that price if I purchase in the next month or two?

Thanks for the tips guys!

Sometimes it's a little more expensive during summer months in America, but you might be able to find it! Check orbitz, that's what I used.
