Day trip from Brussels
EDIT: Just found an older post about this same topic. Apologies.My wife and I are going to be doing a little exploring in Europe in the first couple months of 2013. I was hoping to get a couple opinions about where any of you would suggest a day trip out of Brussels. I had originally though Bruges was a no-brainer, but as I looked around I begun considering Ghent and Antwerp.
What I am looking for is a nice town to spend a few hours wandering, eating and taking photos. Just to soak in the country a little bit.

If you go to Brussels I can advice you to go to the wonder winters which is on the Grand Place and Place Sainte Catherine. It's awsome! If you are looking for information about Brussels I went to this site where I found everything I wanted to know :) http://www.brusselscity.net/winter-wonders/
