Hi,
My friend and I are heading to India for 3 months in March and want to see Nepal too.
Where is best to leave India from either by flight or overland to Nepal.
Delhi - Agra - Rajasthan - Punjab
Kolkata, Varanasi
Mumbai
Goa - Gokarna - Kerala
Our India trip will end in Kerala with us then heading to Chennai or Madras to fly over to SE Asia.
However we now want to do Nepal. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fit this into the route??
Thanks

To go to India from Nepal through roads is quite difficult... A friend of mine has done a similar journey one of the biggest challenges was to get fuel for his car from Nepal to India and the roads are really confusing and you will have to figure out the signs in the streets, the rest are not so difficult as all these roads are connected and its really safe travelling except for the roads in the mountains. I have gone from Delhi to Kashmir and it was an easy trip, the one you mention is really long but it would be a great experience as you'll visit really amazing cities.
