3.5 hours for the train and then another 90 minutes or so by car. It would be faster to do the whole trip by car from the airport if you can afford it.

Even quicker by bus (and much cheaper than hiring a car and driver) than hanging around ST till next day.

Car would shave an hour off the journey over a bus, and you can stop when you want. If there are several of you to split the cost then it doesnt actually work out that much more expensive than the bus. If its only you and time is not of the essence then the bus would suffice.
